Flange Spreader

Flange Spreaders gently separate flanges for the replacement of the flange gasket or the reapplication sealant to the flange face. The Spreader attaches to the flange mounting holes and spreads the flange faces without the risk of damage to the flange sealing surfaces. The Sliding Holder Bar Assembly of the spreader accommodates a wide variety of flange widths.

The Manual Flange Spreader has a flange range of 2”- 12” (51-305mm). The Wedge action of the Manual Flange Spreader spreads the gap between flanges up to 1 1/4" (31.8mm). Applying 100 ft/lbs. of torque (135 newton meters) to the Nut of the Manual Flange Spreader, yields 12,000 lbs. (16,269 newton meters) of force to separate the flanges.

The Hydraulic Flange Spreaders are available for 2” – 36” (51-914mm) flanges. The Hydraulic Flange Spreader applies to 12,000 lbs. (16,269 newton meters) of spreading force to separate the flanges. A Hydraulic Pump with Reservoir and hoses is required for the operation of the Hydraulic Flange Spreaders.
