Universal Chain Clamps

The Universal Chain Clamps are tough and versatile as the Original Dearman Chain Clamp. The Universal Jackbar's design gives the welder the ability to accurately fit-up and in addition weld and grind the pipe without removal of the clamp. The clamp comes with Level and Support device to support Elbows, tees and other fittings freeing the hands of the welder. Universal Chain Clamps are available in steel and stainless steel models for pipe sizes 1” (25mm) to 36” (1372mm). The Clamp will reform pipes to schedule 20 and align pipe to schedule 40. One Chain Clamp covers the range of eight (8) Cage Clamps.

Universal Jackbars spaced around the diameter of the pipe provides support and concise alignment of the pipe internal or external diameter within 1/64 of an inch or less. The Jackbar slides back and forward in the Jackbar Holder as needed for extra support under elbows, tees and other fittings. The Universal Jackbar Jackscrew's pad pivots to handle uneven surfaces encountered during alignment. Spacing Screws can be added to the clamp's Jackbars when precision weld gap adjustment is required.

Each clamp includes the number of Jackbars for its range, Main Block, Chain, Fine Adjustment Level and Support Device, Storage Box, Clamp Wrench, and Parts and Operating Manual.
