Most popular of Mathey Dearman’s line of Chain Machines, the lightweight Mini Chain Machine is highly recommended for cutting random lots of small or larger diameters of pipe. The unique compact Mini delivers exceptional performance and maximum results with reduced down time and maintenance cost. Mini Chain Machine’s multiple wheel positions and double width chain makes it the one of the most accurate chain driven pipe cutting and beveling machines.  Mini Chain Machine has a pipe cutting range of  2” (51mm) and up.

 NO TOOLS ARE NECESSARY - Easily adjustable from one pipe size to another, the Mini chain machine follows the pipe outside diameter to generate a even and consistent bevel.  Mathey Dearman now offers the Mini chain machine with cottered chain that is easily disassembled at any link.  The Chain can be rapidly changed from one pipe diameter to another by adding or removing the cottered links.

 The rack adjustable torch support of the Mini permits the operator to pierce the pipe away from the cut line and quickly move the torch to the cut line to reduce notching of the cut. The machine maintains the torch at a constant distant from the pipe surface producing and even and consistent bevel on the pipe end regardless whether the pipe is round or out-of-round. The machine is available with out-of-round device to lift the torch over seam or spiral welds and to lift or lower the torch over imperfection in the pipe surface.

The Mini Chain Machine with the Guide Strip will produce a precise square cut on horizontal or vertical pipes 18” and up.  The guide strip enables the machine to produce the desired quality square cut without having to rotate the machine around the pipe to bring the chain into the proper alignment. By adding or removing Guide Strip Section, the Guide Strip is adapted to various diameters of pipe.

Mathey Dearman’s multipurpose Mini Chain Machine is designed for the utmost cutting versatility.   The Mini can be fitted with such accessories as 115 or 230vac 50/60Hz Electric Drive, 9’ – 14’ Flexible Drive Cable and 2nd Torch and Sliding Support to make multiple cut simultaneously.

The out-of-round attachment is available as an add-on accessories.  The attachment allows the torch to lift effortlessly over the weld seam or spiral weld.  The attachment is designed to move the torch radially to minimize notching of the bevel as it crosses the weld.
