MagnaCut XM

The MagnaCut XM Pipe and Plate Cutting Machine cuts 6 inch / 153mm pipe thickness of .280 inch / 7mm to 3 inches / 76mm using Plasma and Oxy/Acetylene Cutting Torches. Plate can also be cut cleanly and quickly using a 3/8 inches angle as a guide strip for accuracy.

MagnaCut(tm)s awesome magnetic strength is due to RARE EARTH MAGNETS(tm) that hold the machine on larger and thicker coated pipe with 300 pounds of magnetic force._The MagnaCut XM, with Remote Controlled Torch Arm combined with a Machine Oxy/Fuel or Plasma Cutting Torch is an excellent choice when cutting a variety of sizes and thickness of pipe and plate. The magnetic cutting and beveling machine is ideal for hard to reach locations, such as overhead pipes and vertical walls, because it can be remotely operated from the Motor Control Box.

MagnaCut's speed and direction as well as torch arm speed direction can be remotely controlled from the motor control box minimizing the risk of injury to the operator. MagnaCut has a travel speed of 2 inches (51mm) to 40 inches (1016mm) per minute around the pipe or along the plate. The MagnaCut has a pipe and tube cutting range of 6 5/8 inches (168mm) to unlimited on the outer diameter of the pipe and 24 inches to unlimited on the inside diameter of the pipe. MagnaCut cuts pipe or plate from 3/8 inch (10mm) to 2 inches (51mm) thick. MagnaCut's Powerful Drive Motor enables the machine to cut both vertical plate and “I” beam. When extreme accuracy is needed a Guide Strip can be made from a length of raw angle iron.

The MagnaCut XM Motor Control Box permits precise speed control of the MagnaCut XM in the forward and reverse direction. The operator can accurately control the speed of the Torch Arm as it moves in and out perpendicular to the line of travel of the machine. The Torch Arm Toggle Switch is spring loaded to the center or off position to control precise placement of the cutting or welding torch.
A 230-110vac Step Down Transformer (P.N. 01-0759-008) is available for 230vac 50/60 Hz operation.
